Wildlife sightings are common in Grand Teton National Park, but you have to know where to look. This 5-hour guided tour covers plenty of ground including Antelope Flats, Jackson Lake, Jenny Lake and the viewpoint of Oxbow Bend. Depart in the early morning from your Jackson or Teton Village accommodation; light breakfast and entrance fee included.
If you are not staying in the Town of Jackson or Teton Village, WY, you will need to meet at the Home Ranch Parking Lot at 250 N. Cache St. Please be ready 5 minutes prior to confirmed departure time. Since it is a long day and we have a LOT to see, it is very important that we depart on time. If you are not present at departure, you may be left behind and will forfeit all tour fees.
The majestic, awe-inspiring Teton Mountain Range of the Rockies is the western edge of Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole. With no foothills before them, these rugged 11,000-13,000+ peaks rise straight up from the Jackson Hole valley below.
This historic area features the iconic Moulton barns and other original structures built by several Mormon homesteaders in the early 1900s.
This bend in the Snake River is the definition of serenity, featuring a stunning view and reflection of Mt. Moran of the Teton Mountain Range in the still water. We often see white pelicans, trumpeter swans, blue herons and occasionally beaver, fox and grizzly bears.
Fed by the Snake River from the north, this magnificent lake rests at the base of the Tetons and is a recreational haven for boaters, fishermen, paddlers and campers.
Named after a Shoshone Indian woman, this glacial moraine jewel at the base of the Tetons is absolutely gorgeous and a must-see!
We will drive along the Gros Ventre Road with the mountains in the background looking for moose, pronghorn, bison and other wildlife.
