What to expect
Our tours often result in catching enough fish to make a delicious meal that can include anything from boiled crabs and fish soup to barbecued mackerel fillets. The menu of the day will depend on the day's catch, making every tour a unique and exciting experience.
Our tour starts outside Bergen Tourist information, where we pick you up and drive you to the local islet Syltøy in Øygarden - a scenic 30-35 minute drive.
Once we arrive at our base in Syltøy, we'll provide you with all the necessary clothing and life jackets, as well as a safety brief before we embark on our open safe boat of 6 meter.
After about 1.5-2 hours of fishing, we'll head back to our sea house, a cozy and historic building where we'll prepare the catch together, turning it into a nice meal.
We'll even offer you local apple juice to drink.
This tour is not just about catching fish and having a meal, local history and culture is a big part of this tour.
