The current railway bridge was inaugurated on 24 June 1992. It is written by a Portuguese Engineer - Edgar Cardoso. The next tower was built by the same Engineer at the height of the bridge to study the progress of the work.
It's the bridge designed by Gustav Eiffel. One of the most beautiful bridges between Porto and Gaia. It was the first railway bridge. It was opened in 1877 and operated until 1992. It is currently completely closed. It's a prime Eiffel.
It is the newest bridge between Porto and Gaia. Road bridge. The Bridge is named after Infante D. Henrique, a pioneer of discoveries in Portugal and who was born in Porto, so in his homage the name of the Bridge arose.
The most iconic and well-known bridge in Porto. Written by a Belgian Engineer - Theophilo Seirig who was an Eiffel student and collaborated with him on the D. Maria bridge. 10 years later he designed the Bridge D. Louis I. Together with the Ribeira do Porto and the Cais de Gaia is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has two board : the top is for the Metro and pedestrian and the bottom is road and pedestrian. It is famous that the Ribeira boys jump from the lower board to the river.

It's a national monument. By Portuguese Engineer Edgar Cardoso. When it was inaugurated in 1963, it was the only one in Europe and who knows in the world with a single bow suspended in concrete. The story says that no one believed that the bridge could be completed because the area is very windy and the humidity is high, so the engineer studied a specific date to place the center part of the arch and thus complete the bridge.
The estuary of Cabedelo is a zone near the foz of the river Douro where you can find migratory birds and flora.
The gate of Gaia or Ribeira de Gaia, is part of the UNESCO Heritage Site. It is the historic area of Gaia located right in front of the Ribeira do Porto. This is where the Port Wine cellars are located.
