Discover the Rostro Maya mountain (known internationally as Indian's Nose), famous for hosting one of the most sublime views and photographs not only of Guatemala, but of all of Latin America.
From its summit, you will witness an incomparable panorama: the majestic basin of Lake Atitlan guarded by its three volcanic guardians: San Pedro Volcano, Atitlan Volcano and Tolimán Volcano. On clear days, the show spreads even further, allowing you to see in the distance the imposing Volcano of Fire, Volcano Acatenango and Volcano of Water, located near La Antigua Guatemala.

Our tour continues to San Juan, officially designated "Pueblo Magico" thanks to its unique beauty and vibrant culture. Famous for its colorful streets and artistic murals, this tourist town has all the services: lodging, restaurants, coffee shops, bars and tour agencies. Transportation is done on our designated bus.
The climb to the top: a spectacular reward. Our bus will take us to the picturesque and unique village of Santa Clara, a treasure hidden at the foot of the imposing rock formation known as "The Mayan Head" or, touristically, "The Indian Nose". From this point, we will start the most challenging and rewarding part of our adventure: a 45-minute ascent walk. Although the distance is short, the terrain has a difficulty level rated as difficult, so good physical condition is required. The effort will be worth it when you reach the summit, located 2,260 meters above sea level. From this natural viewpoint, you will be rewarded with one of the most beautiful and panoramic views you can imagine, a perfect time to capture unforgettable photographs and connect with nature at its purest.
After a 35-minute bus ride and a demanding but rewarding 45-minute hike, we will reach the goal of our adventure: the highest mountain summit, known as "The Nose". Here, on the roof of the region, we will witness an incomparable natural spectacle: the magic of dawn. We will see how the sun rises slowly over the horizon, painting the sky in golden and orange hues that reflect in the waters of the majestic Lake Atitlan. We will enjoy this paradise for 70 minutes, time that we will take advantage of: Learn about the picturesque villages surrounding the lake. Discover the fascinating history and myths that surround this sacred lake. Identify the towering volcanoes of Atitlan and, on a clear day, even see in the distance the volcanoes that guard La Antigua Guatemala. This moment of connection with nature and culture from the heights will undoubtedly be the most enduring memory of your trip.
