    Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Lang, 300km ~ 7 hours (L, D)

    Cao Bang

    Xin chào! Your adventure begins quite early at 7:30 today. Our guide will meet you at your hotel or DCT Travel’s office. Travel by private vehicle to Ha Lang. This journey will take approximately 7 hours. Despite the long journey, this will be a convenient ride thanks to easy roads with short breaks on the way to enjoy beautiful scenery along the sides. Our first destination is Halong, a small town of Cao Bang province with 3 sides bordering China. The topography of this land is rich with high mountains, deep valleys, and many magnificent caves. For a long time, here has been the home of many hill tribes Tày, Nùng with a rich culture and custom. After lunch in a local restaurant, we will reach Ha Lang in the afternoon and start the walk around this lush and serene land. Then finishing first day of the trip by a delicious dinner with Cao Bang specialties such as roasted duck or braised ribs and overnight in a guesthouse where accommodation is simple but clean and hospitable.

    Day 2: Ha Lang - Ban Viet lake - Trung Khanh , 100km ~4 hours (B, L,D)

    Trung Khanh

    Our vehicle picks you up after breakfast and heads up along the border belt to the remote of this province. Along the way you will explore the gorgeous landscape of Cao Bang, many rustic traditional villages of Tay, Nung ethnic. When arriving at Ban Viet lake, we will take a short break for some coffees next to the lake, then start walking around and enjoy the charming scenery of the lake which is nestled between mountains with rich and diverse flora. Thanks to its hidden location in the middle of majestic mountains, Bản Viết lake holds a peacefull and calm beauty. Picnic-style lunch will be also set by the lake. The day trip continues through scenic sights up to Trung Khanh district. We will stop by a local waterfalls before arriving Trung Khanh town. Another delicious dinner with local dishes at a restaurant located not far from our guesthouse.

    Day 3: Trung Khanh - Ngoc Con - Dam Thuy, 80km ~ 3 hours (B L, D)

    Another full day of exploration and amazement. Let’s get lost in those remote lands of Cao Bang province alongside China. Arrive in Ngoc Con, a commune of Trùng Khánh district, Cao Bằng. This is where the Quai Son River (originating from China) circulates into the territory of Vietnam and then flows to Dam Thuy and creates the legendary waterfall, Ban Doc waterfall. Travel through beautiful valleys, rugged mountain ranges and peaceful meadows. Walks to the hidden waterfalls and through massive rice paddies. Picnic-style lunch. Late in the afternoon, we will check into a rustic homestay in the Rock Village, an unique village with ancient houses built by the rock of Tay people next to a stream. Dinner with Tay family and overnight in their homestay.

    Day 4: Dam Thuy - Hanoi - 320 km, 8 hours (B, L)

    Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls

    Save the best to the last. Exciting day to discover Ban Gioc waterfalls which is regarded as the most beautiful waterfall of Vietnam and the fourth largest waterfall in the world. Situated on the edge of Vietnam’s border with China, this waterfall is graded by 3 layers with a height of 53 meters and a width of 300 meters and offers picturesque scenery. After lunch in a local restaurant, we will head back to Hanoi and arrive in Hanoi at around 7PM. End of the journey.
