Pickup details:

We pick up all guests at your cruise ship terminal. Your tour guide will be holding a sign that reads Emerald Forest Tours at the bottom of your cruise ship ramp. Ward Cove: If your ship is docked at Ward Cove. We will pick up guests at that terminal. All guests exiting the ship will enter a large red brick building. Once inside the building you will see a large sign hanging down that reads Tour Departures. Your guide will be waiting there, holding a sign that reads Emerald Forest Tours. Important: The Herring Bay Village, which includes the Totem Park, Retired Sawmill, and Blacksmiths . Please note this privately owned site has a $10 per person entry fee and $5 for those under 12, upon arrival to this location.

    Experience the thrill of wildlife with the chance to see bears, bald eagles, salmon, and seals! This open grassy field and salmon filled creek, attracts a variety of wildlife to this location! Please note the diversity of wildlife will vary depending on time of season.

This fascinating journey offers a peek into the past that is fun and entertaining for visitors of all ages! Our final stop in the village is Bifrost Blacksmithing, where experienced blacksmiths Jake and Joron share the process of hand-forging their unique knives. These knives are handcrafted in Ketchikan, made from recycled steel and paired with handles made from Sitka black-tailed deer antlers. Entry into this location that includes the Totem Park, sawmill, and blacksmith is $10 per person(ages 12 and under $5)upon arrival.
