What to expect
A picturesque walk along the canal in the heart of Llangollen.
This 2.5 hour walk will guide you through all the basic principles of foraging. You will learn how to safely identify edible and medicinal plants and fungi, as well as which ones to avoid! You'll be given hints and tips on how to use the ingredients we find, as well as learning some fascinating folklore about them. This walk will help you to connect to the environment around you and empower you to go on and learn more. This walk will be an exploration of the senses as we discover what seasonal bounty is growing around us.
Suitable for all fitness levels, the walk is short and on even ground. We will stop frequently to talk about the plants we find.
This event is outdoors so please dress appropriately for the weather.
