(This itinerary is for the period from April 26 to November 30 of the same year, including a visit to Mount Fuji's 5th Station, but not to Arakurayama Sengen Park.) The 5th Station of Mount Fuji is located halfway up the mountain at an elevation of 2,305 meters. As Japan’s tallest peak, Mount Fuji offers a different kind of beauty whether viewed from afar or up close. Standing at the foot of the summit and looking up from this close distance, you can truly feel its overwhelming majesty. On clear, cloudless days, you can enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding scenery, including Lake Kawaguchi.
