Arakurayama Sengen Park has recently become an internet-famous destination, known as one of the “21 places every photographer must visit before they die.” It offers an exceptional vantage point for viewing the full panorama of Mount Fuji. Climb the 397 steps near the main shrine and you can capture Mount Fuji together with the townscape below in a single shot. Photographers and travelers from all over the world flock here for this view. Beyond the cherry blossoms of spring, the park is also stunning in summer’s fresh greenery, the red leaves of autumn, and the snowy scenery of winter. In addition to the magnificent view of Mount Fuji, you can also look out over the charming cityscape of Fujiyoshida below.

  Oshino Hakkai
