Visit and work in a real artist studio in Munich. Get behind-the-scenes insight into the making artworks and the printmaking process. Find out about the environmentally friendly Risograph printing machine made in Japan which uses inks made from soy oil and stencils made from rice paper. Print your own artwork on the Riso printer. You will be guided by a professional artist, who is a painter, printmaker, and drawing teacher. Penelope is also a fountain of knowledge about contemporary art and art activities in Munich.
The studio is three tram stops from Ostbahnhof (Tram 21, St-Veit-Straße, stop Schlüsselbergstr.) or a 10-min walk from Leuchtenbergring S-Bahn. Take the exit opposite the round tower, go up the steps. We are us on the 1st floor of the front building. Entry via carpark—please ring the buzzer.
