During this private tour to the desert we will visit all the most important points in southern Morocco, entering the Merzouga desert to appreciate all its diversity and culture.
With nearly a decade of experience behind us, close and familiar treatment is our axis to make your experiences unique memories.
Once in Jamaa Elfna Square, you will meet your guide in front of the famous Café de France.
In the morning we head south, cross the High Atlas Mountains, continue until we reach the palm grove of Skoura, located in the heart of the Valley of Palms.
Once we have crossed the Valley of the Roses we will arrive at the Dades Gorges. Ancient formations and extraordinary ocher colored canyons that stand out on the white peaks of the High Atlas, where we will stay with half of the journey done on our itinerary to the desert of Merzouga.
On our way to Merzouga we will cross the High Atlas, which has the highest altitudes in all of North Africa.
We find ourselves in an unexpected place, the Valley of the Roses where, in spring, the entire area is dressed in pink and a wonderful smell is breathed. It is a delight for both the eyes and the nose.
After breakfast we go to one of the most picturesque places in Morocco: The Todra Gorges, located on the east side of the High Atlas and belong to the most peculiar rocky canyons in the world. At certain points the gorges are only 33 meters wide and the cliffs are more than 100 meters high on both sides of the crystal clear river. Some unique views.
In the afternoon we will continue to Merzouga, where the dromedaries will wait for us to accompany us to our luxury camp and spend a fascinating night under the stars of the desert.
We will get into the 4×4 to begin our tour around the Erg Chebbi dunes, a region of the desert populated with sand: Among the many stops that await us, we will discover how and where the nomadic families of the area live, an oasis in the middle of nowhere , spectacular landscapes and small desert towns, palm groves... An unavoidable stop on our way through the town of Khamlia, of people originally from Mali, who will make us enjoy a beautiful Gnawa music concert, while we savor a delicious tea.
In the morning we leave for Marrakech, our first stop will be a few kilometers from Ouarzazate at the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified town in good condition that has managed to keep its traditional Berber appearance and charm intact.
We continue along the road with the aim of crossing the Alto Altas through the Tizi n'Tichka pass. We will arrive in Marrakech where we will conclude our tour and transfer you to your hotel or airport.
