    Ålesund Sightseeing Tour Stop 1 – Sunnmøre Museum Welcome to Sunnmøre Museum, one of Norway's finest open-air museums. Here you'll see a beautiful collection of traditional wooden houses dating from the 16th to the 20th century, carefully moved here from across the Sunnmøre region to preserve local history. What makes these buildings unique is their traditional Norwegian architecture, with grass roofs, handcrafted timber walls, and designs adapted to the rugged coastal climate. Around the museum you'll also see historic boats that tell the story of the region's strong connection to fishing, trade, and life by the sea.     Aksla Mountain

    Stop 2 – Aksla Now we arrive at one of the highlights of the tour—Aksla Viewpoint and Fjellstua. From here you'll enjoy the most famous panoramic view of Ålesund. Spread out below is the colourful Art Nouveau town, surrounded by islands, mountains, and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. This is the perfect place to take photos and appreciate why Ålesund is considered one of Norway's most beautiful coastal towns. On a clear day, you can even see the spectacular Sunnmøre Alps in the distance. If the cafe is open you can by some ice cream or coffe you will get free entrence to the bathroom and roof of the cafe

    Molja Lighthouse

    Stop 3 – Molja Lighthouse Our final stop is Molja Lighthouse, one of Ålesund's most iconic landmarks. Built in 1858, the lighthouse guided fishing boats and merchant ships safely into the harbour long before modern navigation systems existed. For generations of sailors, its light represented safety and the welcome sight of home after long voyages at sea. Today, Molja Lighthouse stands proudly at the entrance to the harbour and has become a symbol of Ålesund's rich maritime heritage.
