Cacao ceremonies are useful for gaining clarity, setting intentions, and doing internal healing and processing work. Being in a sacred space helps you step out of your normal state of mind, allowing you to experience new insights and perspectives. Depending on the intention of the ceremony, they can also be wonderful places to connect with people in a safe, open-hearted environment. Sharing cocoa takes us to the same energetic frequency. This often results in a deeper, more intimate connection with ourselves and others.

Experience a unique cultural tradition with the indigenous Maleku people. We will visit the ancestral lands of the Maleku and be greeted by an elder in the clan. Each clan chooses its leader through tradition and respect and the current leader is in charge of activities of high cultural value.

We will learn from the elder about the Maleku culture and traditions, explore a jungle trail to learn about medicinal plants and their uses, as well as learn about the trees and plants that have cultural significance or are used in Maleku gastronomy.

Finally, the elder will lead a cacao ceremony of purification and blessing to visitors.
