At Olala we organize classes by levels, adapting the development of the class to the conditions of the waves and the level of experience of the group, with a maximum of 2 to 4 students per instructor depending on the conditions of the waves.
The main characteristic of Olala Surf School is its location, the "Punta de Buritaca" is a right-hand break with a sandy bottom just 10 minutes walking from the school, this wave consists of two well-differentiated parts; the INSIDE closest to the coast, perfect for initiation levels and beginners, and an OUTSIDE area more dedicated to intermediate and advanced level surfers, in which you can have "rides" of up to almost 1 MINUTE!, when its sections connect.
Plus we are also Cafeteria! So sit back and enjoy the sunset with a good cup of Colombian coffee in hand.
You can also enjoy each of the areas of the hostel if you come to surf with us, including swimming pool, volleyball net and restaurant
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Head along the Caribe trunk towards Riohacha, just before reaching Buritaca, take the exit for Viajero Hostel and Olala towards the sea.
What to expect
1. We will settle the basic knowledge about the mechanisms of operation of the waves, through a brief theoretical introduction, all accompanied by a welcome 100% Colombian coffee.
2. We will address the technical part about the mechanics and the positioning on the board both outside and inside the water, which will be shaped through the feedback of the instructors
until achieving an optimal execution for the subsequent development in the wave.
3. We will locate the most suitable breaker for your level and we will transfer to the practice in the waves all the knowledge and techniques worked previously.
Our instructors will guide you through this surf class whose main focus will be to provide you with the necessary knowledge, along with the necessary technical bases to enhance your projection in this sport, training you in a more independent and self-sufficient way.
All this provided with the greatest possible security and control with certified instructors.
