Our resident Historian uses the art of storytelling to transport our guests to places and times chosen for our historic journey. Our resident historian has a Bachelors and Masters degree in History, and she uses her vast knowledge obtained from years in the field of Barbadian history to share many lesser known insights about the various attractions visited on the tour and the people that would have inhabited our land.

Starting the tour with the "Father of Independence" feels like the most fitting place to start our journey. Our resident Historian will meet you at this location to begin the tour. Join her as she shares stories regarding this iconic figure of Barbadian history.
Historian will point out the Independence Arch and discuss its significance.
Historian will point out the significance of the monuments located in National Heroes Square.
Tour will pass through and tell stories of early residents.
Historian discusses the attraction along with surrounding monuments located at the site. (Tour does not enter the Synagogue).
Historian will tell stories to highlight the significance of the Methodist Church in early Barbados.
Historian will tell stories about the surrounding area.
Historian will walk along the boardwalk enroute to the Chamberlain bridge pointing out sites along the way.
