    Fountain Square

    Fountains Square is downtown, entertainment and leisure centre in Baku. However, this neighborhood emerged as main trading street of boom town during the first oil boom era, late XIX and early XX century. This is where we meet and end the tour.

    Baku Old City

    Then you will continue your tour program with Old City Walking tour. You will drive to the Double Gates to start Old City Walking Tour. This tour will takes time around 1-2 Hours. From Double Gates, starting the tour you will be able to see the Chain, Sailor and Cat Houses, Bukhara and Multani Caravanserais, Juma Mosque, Maiden Tower. Guide will explain to you the history of the Old City, and its buildings mentioned above. After taking pictures in front of the Maiden Tower you will proceed to Visit the Miniature Book Museum (if it is open), the biggest miniature book collection on earth that has a book which thickness of 0.75mm and consist of 22 Pages. Today, the museum holds a unique collection of over 5,600 books published in 66 countries around the world.

    Palace of the Shirvanshahs

    The next destination will be Shirvanshah Palace – the pearl of the architectural heritage of Azerbaijan, the former residence of the rulers of Shirvan, located in the heart of Baku. In addition to the palace, the amazingly beautiful complex includes the Divan-Khan courtyard, tomb, mosque in 1441, as well as the bathhouse and mausoleum of court scholar Seyid Yahya Bakuvi.

    Azerbaijan Carpet Museum displays Azerbaijani carpets and rug items of various weaving techniques and materials from various periods. It has the largest collection of Azerbaijani carpets in the world. It moved to a new building on the Baku's seafront park during 2014 from its former location on Neftchiler Avenue.

    Highland Park

    Highland Park, located in the heart of Baku and one of the favorite leisure places of the local residents, is regarded as one of the most beautiful parks of the capital city for a long time.İt is the highest Point of the city where you can see the best panoramic view of the Baku. Another commonly known name of the park among people is Viewing Square. In Soviet era, this park was named after Sergei Kirov. The one particular reason that makes the Highland Park unique is that it has a panorama looking over the city, Baku bay, Seaside National Park stretching along the bay. That explains the reason the park was called “Highland”.
