The Colchagua Valley is one of the world’s premier wine tourist destinations. Known for its beautiful vineyard covered hills, hundred year old vines, enchanting colonial estate houses and modern high tech wineries, sets up a perfect atmosphere to enjoy a day trip from Santiago city.
Located in the southern half of the Rapel Valley, the Colchagua Valley has evolved over the last twenty years from being a calm stretch of farmland to becoming one of the largest and most active wine-producing regions in the country. The relatively low altitude of the coastal hills allows the Pacific breeze to mingle with the Andean winds, which cools the valley and prolongs the maturation period of the region.

Depart at 07:45 from your Hotel in Santiago and drive for 2,30 hrs to Colchagua Valley arriving to Viña Los Maquis for Tour + Wine tasting. Includes: Visit to the most representative places of the vineyard, surrounded by nature, to end with a tasting of 4 wines, 2 Gran Reserva wines Fotem, our ultra-premium wine from Calcu and our icon Lien.

2Clos Apalta
Explore our historic Clos Apalta Vineyard, with a private walk around the vineyard, where our vines planted in 1907, stand as one of the world's oldest. Immerse yourself in our commitment to viticulture, boasting organic practices. Dive into the intricacies of vineyard management guided by our experienced hosts, culminating in an unforgettable wine tasting. The experience last approximately 60 minutes, offered in English or Spanish. This private visit includes a tasting of Prelude 2022, Le Petit Clos 2021 y Clos Apalta 2021,, as you savor the essence of our wines amidst the scenic beauty of our vineyard estate.

3Vina Montes
- We'll head to enjoy lunch at the famous Fuegos de Apalta restaurant, lead by the world-acclaimed chef Francis Mellman, an expert hand on meats; a superb culinary experience. You'll have the option to choose a la carte and pay for your own lunch. We'll take care of booking a table for you. - Once we end the your lunch, we'll head towards Neyen winery.

Our last stop would be at prestigious winery Neyen for an amazing wine tasting. A new world wine with an old world essence, Neyen offers authentic wines, reflecting the unique centenary vines and soils from our property in Apalta. – Once we end the wine tasting, we’ll drive 2,30 hrs back to Santiago and drop you off at your Hotel.
