This experience allows you to live an Oaxacan tradition from within. Instead of watching the convite from a distance, you will participate in a local celebration in San Jerónimo Tlacochahuaya, accompanied by Oaxacan Chinese, calenda monkeys and band music. You will walk, dance, taste mezcal and live in a host house, in a guided, safe and limited place environment. An intimate and authentic way to approach the spirit of the Guelaguetza.

Right at the back of the Cathedral, our offices are located, there we will meet, you will find a white sign with blue, you must arrive 15 minutes before departure.

In San Jerónimo Tlacochahuaya you will live an Oaxacan convite from within. We will visit the village church and then walk through its streets with Oaxacan Chinese, calenda monkeys and live band. You won’t just be a spectator: you can dance, sample mezcal and live in a host house, enjoying a local experience inspired by the Guelaguetza that few visitors have the opportunity to live.
