Depart from Cape Town at 8am and travel on the Little Karoo and R62 wine route, the world's longest wine route on the way to Oudtshoorn. Traveling from Cape Town to Oudtshoorn via the R62 wine route offers a picturesque journey through South Africa's stunning landscapes. Departing from Cape Town, you'll venture northeast towards Worcester, where the R62 officially begins. As you continue along this scenic route, you'll pass through charming towns like Robertson and Montagu, known for their vineyards and hot springs. The road winds through the dramatic landscapes of the Klein Karoo, offering views of towering mountains and expansive valleys. Oudtshoorn, famed for its ostrich farms and the Cango Caves, awaits at the end of this memorable road trip, promising a glimpse into the region's rich cultural and natural heritage.

From Benguela Cove Wine estate we proceed to see African Penguins at Betty's Bay. A tour of Betty's Bay to see African penguins is a delightful wildlife experience on South Africa’s southern coast. From Betty's Bay we then travel on the scenic whale coast back to Cape town. Starting in Betty's Bay, you'll meander through picturesque seaside towns and rugged landscapes, with opportunities to spot whales during their migration season. We arrive in Cape Town at 6pm to conclude the 3 day garden route tour.
