3Vila de Sao Sebastiao
Step back in time in São Sebastião, home to one of the oldest churches on Terceira, dating back to 1455. Admire its historic architecture and ancient frescoes. Nearby, visit a traditional Império—a colorful chapel central to the Azorean Holy Spirit festivities—offering insight into the island’s rich cultural and religious heritage.

Algar do Carvão and Alternative Visit Algar do Carvão is currently closed due to construction works. While it is unavailable, we’ll visit a local coffee and fruit farm instead.
