This excursion offers the opportunity to explore two of the most impressive landscapes that Salta has to offer. On the one hand, you will immerse yourself in the lush Lerma Valley, where towering trees over 20 meters high dominate the landscape, accompanied by the rich diversity of birds and wild animals that inhabit it. On the other hand, you will enter the majestic Andean mountains of the Calchaquí Valleys, known for their desert landscapes that unfold with a vibrant color palette on their hills and the imposing presence of the monumental cards.
In addition to enjoying nature, your excursion offers an immersion in the rich local culture, traditional rural activities and gastronomic delights typical of the
region. Evenings will be accompanied by guitars around the fire, and by the excellent wine of Cafayate.

    Salta

    We set out from the meeting place of the capital of Salta and travel through the magical landscapes offered by the Bishop’s slope, reaching Amblayo, where We will have lunch and the horses will be ready to start the first leg of adaptation; we will head towards Yalasguala, passing through “La Salamanca” Place where the legend of Salamanca is born, we take the Yalasguala River and go out to the “Rossy Santa Way” reaching the “Cienego” where the vastness of the willows and cardones surprise us with their beauty. We finish the first day until we reach Yalasguala where we will spend the night and We will taste one of the typical meals of the place.

    We visit the majestic rocks of the Calchaquies Valleys.

    Salta

    After breakfast, we saddled up and among the immense cardones we headed south. As the large number of cardons disappear we can appreciate different colors of land where we are transiting to reach a river of salt water. Then we approach the rock formations which provide us with the shade and back of the wind to be able to eat lunch. After a little nap we set off among the rocks of different colors and figures to arrive in the afternoon where they wait for us with homemade bread and Amblayo cheese. In the evening, we will enjoy a good roast.

    We're heading towards the Yungas.

    Salta

    We leave a panoramic view of the peeled hill and climb to the summit where we appreciates the two varieties of landscapes, the boundary of the Calchaquíes Valley and Lerma Valley from where you can see the panoramic view of the dam Goat corral. Then, we go down to the Lerma valley, stopping at First Mesada, where We'll have lunch while the horses rest. After lunch, we'll resume the way to the Churqui Gorge. In the territory of the department of La Viña we We inserted the real salt yunga. In the afternoon we arrive at the Churqui where We'll sleep in a mountain shelter.
