Agra has been mostly limited to the Taj Mahal but this walk will make you see the beauty beyond Taj, you will experience the culture, cuisine, markets, history, and architecture.
We start our tour from the heart of the walled city - the Jama Masjid, and see, feel and hear the beautiful and chaotic city. We climb terraces to spot monuments, walk through 15th-century markets, enter traditional homes and maybe meet a few local poets if we are lucky.
Its an iconic building easy to find. You have to stand there on the central gate.
The Jama Mosque is a 17th-century congregational mosque located in the historic core of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. It was built by Jahanara Begum, Padshah Begum of the Mughal Empire, during the reign of her father, Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. It is one of the largest mosques in India.
Mankameshwar Temple in Agra is one of the ancient temples devoted to Lord Shiva. The temple is situated at Rawatpara, near Agra Fort Railway Station.
