Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple is a Buddhist temple is unlike any other, especially in terms of its architecture. While the outside of the temple is reminiscent of South Asian and Indian traditional design, the inside adds even more to the mix. It has seen a deal of damage over the years. It burned down just 40 years after it was erected in 1617, and was destroyed again in the great 1923 earthquake. You will meet your tour guide at the main entrance of the temple then start to the tour. The tour does not include the tour of temple so please come earlier and see inside if you are interested in seeing it.
Tsukiji Market is a large wholesale market for fish, fruits and vegetables in central Tokyo. It used to be best known as one of the world's largest fish markets, handling over 2,000 tons of marine products per day before the relocation in 2018.
