After meeting your professional guide, you’ll walk through the jungle to the crystal-clear cenote entrance. Following a short safety briefing, you’ll enter the water and begin your dive through stunning caverns filled with ancient stalactites and stalagmites.
Sunlight beams shine through openings above, creating incredible light effects in the water. With visibility often exceeding 100 meters, it feels like floating through a hidden underground cathedral.
You’ll also explore part of the famous Bat Cave, where bats rest above the cavern ceiling. Along the way, your guide will share insights about the cave formations and the sacred importance cenotes held for the ancient Maya.

Meeting and pickup
For guests with their own transportation, we meet at Easy Chango, a well-known scuba tank refill station in central Tulum.
How to find us: Look for your instructor, who will be wearing a Kaab Ha Diving branded shirt.
Logistics: Once you arrive and meet your instructor, you have two options for reaching the dive site:
Follow the Leader: You can follow the guide in your own vehicle.
Ride Together: You are welcome to park your vehicle at the meeting point and ride in the dive van with your instructor.
If you do not have a vehicle you can take a taxi to the Easy Chango location or request a pickup at your hotel. Please, let us know your hotel 24 hours in advance so we can make preparations for your gear!
What to expect
Your day begins by meeting your local guide, who will lead you through the lush jungle to the crystal-clear cenote entrance. After a short safety briefing and equipment check, you’ll enter the water and discover a hidden world beneath the surface.
As you dive, you’ll glide through ancient caverns filled with dramatic stalactites and stalagmites, illuminated by beams of sunlight shining through the cenote openings above. The visibility is incredible—often over 100 meters—making it feel like you’re flying through a natural underground cathedral.
Your guide will take you through the most beautiful sections of the Dos Ojos cavern system while sharing fascinating stories about the geology, history, and the sacred importance cenotes held for the ancient Maya.
You’ll also explore part of the Bat Cave, a darker cavern chamber where thousands of bats rest above the water, adding a sense of mystery and adventure to this incredible dive.
