For visitors seeking a respite from the heat and bustle of Marrakech, the Ourika Valley is a green oasis at the foot of the majestic Atlas Mountains. Go on an expedition outside of the city, exploring the region's lush towns, orchards, and vegetation. Explore the Haouz plain towards the abandoned settlement of Aghmat, which was founded by Berbers prior to the introduction of Islam. Continue to Ighref (the hike's beginning point) to reach Jebel Yagour, a peak known for its rock art.
