Begin your adventure with an early meet-up in Monterrey or San Pedro. After a short drive, you’ll start with a 15-minute warm-up hike that leads to the entrance of the abandoned mine tunnels — your gateway into the legendary Garganta del Diablo. From here, the excitement kicks in. You’ll gear up and descend by rope through three thrilling rappels: First rappel: approximately 100 meters completed in two stages (80 m plus 20 m), dropping into the heart of the mountain Second rappel: about 15 meters, taking you deeper into the mining chambers Once inside, you’ll explore old mining tunnels and rock passages carved decades ago. This underground world is full of mystery, history, and incredible natural formations — a true hidden adventure just minutes from Monterrey. Your certified guide will lead the way safely while sharing interesting facts about the area.
