Once you land, we’ll meet you at Casablanca Airport, starting our 10 days Desert Tour from Casablanca. We’ll also make time to visit the Hassan II Mosque. Afterward, we’ll head towards Rabat, where you’ll stay overnight.
after breakfast, we will head toward Rabat which is the capital of Morocco, we’ll explore the city, checking out the Royal Palace walls and the Mausoleums of Mohammad V and Hassan II. We’ll stroll through the old walled city and the stunning Oudayas Kasbah.
Later, we head towards the “blue city,” Chefchaouen. After about 4 hours on the road, we’ll arrive and dive into the old Medina, Outa-el-Hamma Square, and the Jewish Quarter. There are plenty of artisan shops, restaurants with terraces, and cafes to enjoy and relax. You’ll have free time to explore Chefchaouen and stay overnight at a hotel.
You will start traveling to Fes via Ouazzani and the Roman site of Volubilis. After a couple of hours drive, you will get to Volubilis, the well-preserved Roman empire dating to 225 BC, where you will see the most beautiful Mosaics in Morocco dating back to the 3rd century BC. Here you will have a guided tour of the site and learn a lot about the Roman Empire. After that we traveled to Meknes, the Ismaili capital of Morocco. In Meknes we see the fascinating gate Bab Mansour built by the sultan My Ismail; the granary and the Sahrij Souani, used for irrigation and plantation. Your visit includes also the Mulay Ismail Mausoleum. We then continue via the highway to Fes.
You will start exploring Fes, the “the Spiritual City of Morocco”. You will spend the whole morning exploring the Medina and its alleys; visiting most of the sites with cultural and historical interest – including the Jewish quarter, the famous Al Karaouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), the Madrasa Bouanania, the Tanneries, and the Najjarine fountain. After lunch, we will drive you outside the Medina to see the Royal Palace gate, walk through the Jewish quarter “the Mellah”, and then visit the pottery cooperative. In the afternoon, we will drive you to one of the fortresses to experience an amazing panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fes
After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop will be in Ifrane, a picturesque and pristine town often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its striking resemblance to a Swiss alpine resort. As we continue south, we’ll pass through the vast cedar forests of North Africa, home to the playful Barbary monkeys. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to capture some amazing photos and even feed the monkeys.
After lunch in Midelt, we will continue our journey south, passing through the Talghomt Pass, where you’ll enjoy the stunning natural landscapes and vistas. We’ll then arrive at the Ziz Valley region, where we’ll take a break to admire a breathtaking panoramic view of this hidden oasis, filled with lush palm groves. In about an hour, we will continue our adventure.
We will arrive at the Sahara Desert, where your camels will be waiting for you. After a short rest, you’ll embark on a guided camel trek, crossing the towering dunes of the Erg Chebbi desert. As you journey through the sands, you’ll witness a magnificent sunset from the top of a high dune. Afterward, we’ll continue the trek towards your camp, where you’ll spend the night in traditional nomad-style tents. Following dinner, you’ll enjoy live Berber music played by local nomads around a campfire, all under the enchanting, starry desert sky.
Waking up early is a must to witness what could be one of the most beautiful sunrises of your life. After breakfast, we’ll begin our Sahara desert excursion, exploring its various hidden gems. Our first stop is the serene Merzouga Lake, home to exotic birds. We then journey into the heart of the desert, where nomads still live a traditional lifestyle. We’ll sip tea with them and experience their way of life firsthand. Next, we follow the historic Paris-Dakar Rally route, which leads us to the Mifis mines, once exploited by France, where we’ll take a brief visit. From there, we head to Khamlia village, inhabited by the Gnawa people originally from Mali and Niger. Here, you’ll enjoy their unique music and dance. Lunch will be in the village, featuring a delicious Berber pizza. Before concluding the day, we’ll visit a striking oasis at the edge of the dunes, and finally, return to your hotel for a restful evening.
After breakfast at your hotel. We'll leave the immense desert and travel towards the city of Rissani, once a major stopping place for saharan-caravans route; if it coincides the day markets which take place on : Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays we will have an opportunity to visit the souk — the largest one in the region.
We then set off for Erfoud, known as the “fossil town.” Here, you’ll find stalls displaying a variety of crystals, precious stones, and ancient fossils. You can also visit a local workshop where marble, embedded with fossils, is crafted into beautiful items—a fascinating experience for visitors interested in geology and history.
We then continue our journey to the Dades Valley, passing through villages like Mellab, Tinjdad, and Touroug before arriving at the lush Todra Valley, surrounded by mud-brick villages and towering mountains. After a scenic 30-minute drive, we reach the Todra Gorges, a dramatic narrow canyon with 300-meter-high cliffs on either side, making it a favorite spot for rock climbers. We’ll pause for lunch in the nearby town before continuing our adventure.
continue to Dades valley where you will see the fascinating rock formation known locally as "monkies fingers" as well as beautiful mud kasbahs. Overnight in a hotel overlooking the valley.
Today, we journey to El Kelaa M’Gouna, also known as Rose Town, where over 400 tonnes of rose petals are harvested each spring to be processed into rosewater or exported to perfume industries. The town hosts the famous Festival of Roses every May. As we travel from Rose Town to Skoura, you’ll see numerous kasbahs nestled among the greenery of the Dades Valley. Skoura, a charming town, is surrounded by thousands of palm groves and is home to some of the most beautiful kasbahs in southern Morocco.
Continue our journey to Ouarzazate " Hollywood of Africa " -with the biggest cinema studios in Morocco- , then to the most famous, filmed and photographed kasbah of Ait Benhaddou — A Unesco World Heritage site — We'll have free time to visit it and have lunch in the village . After, we head to Marrakesh via high atlas mountains (2260 ) , admiring the impressive mountainous views and speacial berber villages on the mountain's sides . Arrive to Marrakesh in the evening.
We will make a short visit at Koutoubia Mosque and escort you to your riad in the heart of the Medina
After breakfast, you’ll begin your city tour of Marrakesh, known as the “Red City” of Morocco. Your guide will take you to the most significant historical and cultural landmarks, including the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Madrasa. You’ll also explore Morocco’s largest traditional souk. After lunch at a local restaurant near the bustling main square, you can visit the iconic Koutoubia Tower and the tranquil Majorelle Gardens.
After breakfast, we'll pick you up from your riad and make short visit at the famous Jardin Majorelle after we drive you to the airport either in Marrakech or Casablanca for your flight. End of 10 Days tour from Casablanca.
