We can pick up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (6:30am, 3:30pm, 8:00pm) or Noi Bai Airport (8:00am, 5:00pm, 9:00pm) or Ha Giang city (8:00am), the bus will take about 6 hours from Hanoi Old Quarter to our hotel in Ha Giang city where you GET FREE private room for overnight and next day breakfast from 7:30-8:00, then we start the trip.

    Day 1

    Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van (B/L/D)

    Quan Ba Heaven Gate

    Start the day with a local breakfast and arrange everything you will need to take for the tour. First you will ride through Bac Sum Pass on the way to the first viewpoint, Heaven’s Gate. At an altitude of 1,500m it offers a view of the twin mountains of Quan Ba. Continuing on through Yen Minh, you will pass the pine forests before stopping for lunch and a rest in Yen Minh town. After lunch you will ride to Tham Ma slope. A beautiful section of road that snakes up the mountain with a viewpoint looking back down through the valley. Next stop is to explore Hmong King’s Palace. A 100 year old palace that was used by the Hmong King in the past. You will arrive in Dong Van town going directly to the homestay where you can shower, change and relax before dinner.

    Located in the province of Ha Giang, Dong Van offers a blend of cultural experiences and natural beauty. Its bustling local ethnic market, held every Sunday, is a vibrant display of traditions and customs. Wander through the cozy Old Quarter, filled with charming buildings and it is the start of the famous Ma Pi Leng Pass. As a popular overnight stop along the Ha Giang Loop, Dong Van is a must-visit destination.

    Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Du Gia (B/L/D)

    Ma Pi Leng Pass

    In the morning you will have breakfast at the homestay. After breakfast you will pass through the iconic Ma Pi Leng Pass. This pass is the best of the tour and one of the greatest in Vietnam at an altitude of 2,000m. There are 2 options next… A short trek to the Skywalk for the best view of the pass or you can take a boat down the river & enjoy a swim. Lunch will be in Meo Vac, after which you will have time for a rest. After lunch you will head to Ha Giang taking in the views from the Lung Ho valley. You will arrive in Ha Giang around 6pm. Dinner at local restaurant and night bus back to Hanoi.

    Du Gia is an unknown quiet village in Ha Giang. This place is visited almost exclusively by travelers who do the Ha Giang loop in 3 days or more. The best thing about this place is the peaceful and unspoiled beauty with its majestic natural landscape of mountains and rice paddies around it. In addition, the local people here are exceptionally hospitable and friendly.

    Located off the beaten path, A Boong Waterfall offers a serene escape. To reach traveling from Meo Vac, head toward Mau Due and continue in the direction of Du Gia. Before you reach Du Gia, turn off at Lung Ho, taking the westward road back toward Ha Giang City. As you venture along this scenic route for about two hours, you’ll eventually arrive at the waterfall.
