Meeting and pickup
For guests staying outside the central town area or arriving from the port, please meet your guide at the Rydges Hotel at 1:30 pm. Ample complimentary parking is available surrounding the hotel and in the rear parking lot.

1Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland
This half-day tour departs Rotorua Central daily between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM We’ll pick you up from your Rotorua Central accommodation and drive through picturesque forestry and farmland to the stunning geothermal heartland of the North Island. The Experience Your guide will lead you through Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, where you’ll witness: New Zealand’s largest boiling mud pool: A powerful display of geothermal energy. Vibrant hot springs: Featuring a spectrum of natural, vivid colors. Volcanic features: Including the world-famous Champagne Pool, one of the world's largest and most colorful natural hot springs. Note: Please be aware that the Lady Knox Geyser presentation at Wai-O-Tapu typically occurs daily at 10:15 AM. Because this revised schedule departs in the afternoon, the live eruption presentation will not be part of this specific time slot.
