This tour can be customised to take you to any of the Speyside Distilleries. We have listed 6 of the most popular but we can take you to any and assist you with tour bookings etc.
We recommend that customers do one actual Distillery tour followed by tastings at 2 or 3 other Distilleries.
A suggested itininerary is as follows.
Leaving Inverness at 8am we travel down to Dufftown in the Heart of Speyside to arrive at the largest producing Distillery in Scotland - Glenfiddich for a Distillery tour and tasting , we then travel to Craigellachie to the Speyside Cooperage to see the skills of the Coopers before we have lunch at the Mash Tun in Aberlour.
Following lunch we travel a short distance to Glenallachie Distillery for a tasting , this Distillery is still in private hands and their 12 year old won the best Scotch Whisky in 2025.
Depending on whichever day the tour is we will stop at either Glenfarclas Distillery or Cardhu Distillery for our final tasting before travelling back.
We collect travellers from their accommodation in the Inverness area and drop them off at their accommodation or somewhere else of their choosing close by.
Glenfiddich Distillery is one of the Speyside distilleries that we visit, bookings need to be made in advance, contact us to arrange a visit to this famous distillery . The tour takes 90 minutes and during the tour you will recieve tastings of the 12 year old , the 15 , 18 and 21 year old Glenfiddich whisky (for travelers with more them 18 years old).
The GlenAllachie Distillery is a lovely Speyside distillery that visits can be arranged to. During the tour you will taste 2 drams of Glenallachie (for travelers more than 18 years old). Contact us in advance to assist you with booking times etc.
Speyside cooperage has been home to the ancient art of Coopering since 1947. We see the coopers shaping , shaving and charring casks for this integral part of the whisky industry.
We travel to the little town of Aberlour for lunch at The Mash Tun
Glenfarclas Distillery is one of the few Scottish Distilleries still in private hands.
One of the first Distilleries in Scotland to be licenced in 1824 , there are a number of smuggling trails around the Distillery.
One of the largest Distilleries in Scotland visitors to Macallan will be amazed at the Whisky Wall in the new Visitor centre , we can visit here from Thursdays to Sundays only.
Cardhu Distillery was the first Distillery in Speyside to be owned by Johnnie Walker and is now Diageos flagship Distillery on Speyside.
