Explore the volcanic landscapes of northern Costa Rica on a full-day tour to Rincón de la Vieja National Park, just outside Liberia. This guided experience follows the Las Pailas trail, where you will see bubbling mud pools, steaming vents, and sulfur springs shaped by the active Rincón de la Vieja Volcano.
After the hike, continue to Oropéndola Waterfall, set within a narrow canyon and surrounded by tropical forest. There will be time to enjoy the scenery and take in one of the park’s most striking natural features.
Wildlife is often spotted along the way, including howler monkeys, capuchins, coatis, iguanas, and a variety of tropical birds.
The day ends in Liberia with a traditional Costa Rican lunch prepared with fresh local ingredients, before returning to your hotel.
