Beginning the tour while enjoying the sceneries we will be passing by, the first stop will be at a Dam to take some pictures and enjoy the fresh Air, then we will continue to Volubilis to explore the 2000-year-old ruins and get to know the stories behind this historical small city which is one of the UNESCO world Heritage sites.
After spending enough time at Volubilis we will continue to the next destination “Moulay Idriss Zerhoun” the holy city that where the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss the founder of Fes located, it is true that Non-Muslims cannot enter the mosque but you will enjoy the panoramic view of the city.
Upon arrival to Meknes you will have a pause to have lunch then presume the rest of the tour. The imperial city Meknes is well known for its walls with monumental gates dating from the seventeenth century such as Berdaïne Bab, Bab Khemis. We continue exploring the city by the stables (Rua), attics (HERI), and Stud. Stop needed at the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail was for a long time the only mosque that non-Muslims could visit in Morocco. It then exits through the famous Bab Mansour El on the vast square Hedim. On the other side of the square, the Museum of Moroccan Art “Dar Jamai” offers a wide variety of handcrafts.
