Have the opportunity to hike over a Welsh mountain steeped in history dating back thousands of years.

Travel to South Stack from pick up point via Private Hire Vehicle/Taxi.
See the Bird Colonies(seasonal April - June) from Elin's Tower Vantage Point. Scale the 400 steps down to the islet, cross the tiny suspension bridge over the turbulent sea and visit a 19t Century Lighthouse(seasonal) , View the RSPB Bird Colonies and UNESCO Geo Park Cliffs. Learn about post industrial and cultural heritage. Hiking in area of Outstanding Natural beauty with magnificent Vistas of the Snowdonia Mountain range and Atlantic.
After the Climb back from the Lighthouse enjoy a well earned break at the excellent South Stack RSPB Cafe. (Snacks and Refreshments available but not included)
Visit one of the best preserved iron age hut circle villages in Europe.
A choice or hiking routes (Moderate or Easy) over the spectacular Holyhead Mountain. Only 720 feet in height but packs a punch. Visit an ancient stone age cairn, site of a 6th Century Chapel and 19th Century quarrying legacy associated with the construction of the great breakwater.
After the hike is over enjoy a well earned coffee break at Holyhead Country Park. Explore and learn of the Victorian industrial heritage around you and also a tragic wartime USA aircraft crash. the final part of the hike is along the beautiful coastline back to Holyhead Marina.
