Pick up 7.30am in an air conditioned vehicle and drive in the direction of Chefchaouen, known as “the blue jewel of Morocco,” a stunning and tranquil town situated in the Rif Mountains. We’ll stop along the way in Barrage Sidi Chahed to capture panoramic pictures of the Rif Mountains and enjoy the cool air
Upon arrival, you’ll start discovering the city’s main attractions starting by the main square in Chefchaouen, Plaza Uta El-Hammam, is crowded yet a fantastic spot to unwind because it is surrounded by local eateries and coffee shops. The renowned Kasbah, which was erected in the 18th century and is located in the square, is actually a fortified walled enclosure with a lovely garden and little museum. Feel free to take a break for lunch at any time you want. You will then go to the impressive mosque that “Ali Ben Rachid,” the town’s founder’s son constructed it; it was erected in the 15th century. You can find distinctive local handicrafts in Chefchaouen as a result of the mix of cultures there, and you’ll undoubtedly find them fascinating. Other landmarks will be revealed to you during the medina tour. At the end of the tour You will back to Fez.
