Join the Highlight of Bali Tour and experience the island’s rich cultural soul in just one day, combining history, craftsmanship, nature, and authentic village life. With a professional guide and air-conditioned transport, this tour blends culture, landscape, and local connection
This full-day journey takes you beyond Bali’s beaches to discover traditional gong-making in Blahbatuh Village, where you can witness artisans tuning gongs by ear and even try playing the gamelan.
Explore ancient Balinese heritage at Gedong Arca Museum, home to rare stone coffins and sacred artifacts. Then, walk through lush plantations in Sri Batu, sample world-famous Luwak coffee with local snacks, and enjoy a scenic lunch overlooking Mount Batur’s volcanic beauty.
The tour ends in Penglipuran Village, one of the cleanest villages in the world, where you’ll wear Balinese attire, walk through bamboo forests, and experience local life.
Pick up is available from most centrally located in Kuta, Legian, Tuban, Sanur, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Tanjung Benoa, and Nusa Dua areas. Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time.
Watch how each gong is molded, painted, and hand-tuned using only the gong-smith’s ear — a fascinating process that connects deeply with Balinese spirituality. You’ll even have a chance to try playing the gamelan yourself.
Explore ancient stone carvings, sacred manuscripts, and even a rare stone coffin used by Balinese royalty in the past.
You’ll walk through lush fields of coffee trees, tropical fruits, herbs, and spices. Enjoy a tasting session of locally made teas and coffees, including the world-famous Luwak coffee, served with traditional Balinese snacks. Before you leave, you’ll have the chance to purchase freshly packed coffee, tea, or chocolate to bring home.
In the cool mountains of Kintamani, take in the views of Mt Batur. Black lava runs from the peak of this active volcano to the valley floor, where the shimmering Lake Batur — Bali’s widest lake — lies at its base. Stop here for a delicious lunch (own expense), served in a local restaurant offering an Indonesian buffet and magnificent vistas. Marvel at the crescent-shaped lake, surrounded by the steep walls of the crater rim where the original Mt Batur erupted tens of thousands of years ago.
On the way in, you’ll pass through a peaceful bamboo forest before arriving at the village gates. Here, you’ll have the chance to wear traditional Balinese custom and stroll through the beautifully preserved streets, observing daily life and strong cultural values.
