We will pick you up from your accommodation as long as its 5km within the Nuwara Eliya city range. Most accommodations are within this range but suppose if yours isn’t you can contact us and we will try to arrange something at a reasonable additional charge.

Travelers booking this experience will enjoy a short, informative visit to the iconic Labookellie Tea Factory, set among the cool-climate tea plantations near Nuwara Eliya. Upon arrival, they’ll join a guided factory tour that walks them through each stage of tea production, from freshly plucked leaves to the finished Ceylon tea ready for packaging. Inside the factory, travelers will see traditional machinery in operation and learn how tea is withered, rolled, fermented, dried, and graded, gaining insight into the craftsmanship and skill behind Sri Lanka’s premium tea industry. Following the tour, guests can relax with a freshly brewed cup of Ceylon tea, enjoying the aroma and flavors while taking in views of the surrounding plantations.
