Whether you're a beginner or advanced hiker, we have a custom day of hiking for you! Experience premier wildlife watching of unparalleled opportunities to observe wolves, grizzly bears, bison herds, and other magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
Our guides are CPR and Wilderness First Aid trained. Your expert guide knows the best locations and timing for wildlife sightings, providing high-powered spotting scopes and sharing their deep knowledge of the park's animals and ecosystems.
Travel in comfort in a private vehicle as your guide helps you spot and photograph wildlife safely. We'll document your wildlife encounters with photos and video throughout the day and share them with you afterwards at no additional charge.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Front door pickup is included in the price of your tour if you are staying within 5 miles of the West Yellowstone Visitor Information Center. If not, we ask you to meet us at the West Yellowstone Visitor Information Center. If you are staying in the park, we can arrange to meet in the park at Madison Junction or Norris Geyser Basin.
Your guide will contact you before the tour to make a final meetup plan. The will be driving a mini-van or SUV with "Sky's the Limit" magnets on the front doors.
What to expect
Want to spend the morning on a single, challenging backcountry trail? Prefer to link a series of shorter hikes, exploring different landscapes? It’s entirely up to you. Your expert naturalist guide will help plan the perfect route, from serene alpine lakes and quiet meadows frequented by wildlife to hidden thermal features far from the crowds.
This is a private experience, so there’s no set schedule but yours. Linger over photography, study wildflowers in detail, or cover as many miles as you want—your guide will adjust to your style, ensuring a safe, enriching adventure.
While wildlife sightings are often a highlight, this tour is about so much more: immersing yourself in Yellowstone’s diverse and awe-inspiring landscapes at a pace that’s right for you.
