Leave Marrakech at 08:00, ready for a 2-hour journey to the beautiful Essaouira on the Atlantic Coast. Once you arrive at the port city, formerly, Our guide will take you to visit the Medina of Essaouira and see the traditional market streets that are often labyrinth-like and overwhelming with smells and colours. Selling traditional clothes, tapestries, pottery, and even food, these markets are a treasure trove for traditional souvenirs, and offer one of the most enchanting cultural experiences in Morocco. Explore the beautiful Essaouira including the production crew of Game of Thrones who used the majestic city as a backdrop in some episodes. Rich in history, which can be seen predominantly in its beautiful coastal ramparts, and full of culture, famous in particular for its music, Essaouria boasts a range of relaxing and enjoyable things to do and see. Then you will have free time to admire its fortifications, the fishing port and the labyrinthian old town, where you can bask in the atmosphere and the day to day life of its inhabitants. The town too boasts a seemingly unending beach and it is recommended to try the delicious freshly caught fish and seafood. The tour will then set off back to Marrakech, returning to the city in the late evening.
