  The Gardens of Augustus (Giardini di Augusto), formerly known as the Krupp Gardens, are a stunning botanical retreat located on the island of Capri, in the Campania region of Italy. These gardens were established in the early 20th century by the German industrialist Friedrich Alfred Krupp, who chose Capri as the site for his mansion. Originally, the gardens were named "Krupp Gardens" until they were renamed in 1918 as "Gardens of Augustus," the title by which they are known today. The gardens, designed in terraces overlooking the sea, are a true testament to the rich flora of the island of Capri. Among the various ornamental plants and flowers that adorn the site, geraniums, dahlias, and brooms stand out, creating a spectacle of colors and aromas that enchant visitors. An intriguing feature of the Gardens of Augustus is the monument dedicated to Vladimir Lenin, one of the few of its kind in Italy.
