The Sarapiqui River is the perfect couple or family adventure, with fewer participants than the morning tour, giving a more private feeling. The rapids are perfect for first-time paddlers looking for a challenge or families interested in fun, set in the lowlands of the rain forest, you’ll get breathtaking views of tropical birds and lush jungle landscapes.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
-Secure closed-toed shoes are required for rafting (flip flops or crocs are NOT ALLOWED). Bring comfortable clothes to get wet and move while paddling, and also a change of clothes.
-Make sure you show up at the reception of your hotel or pick-up place at the right time. Guides and drivers only wait a maximum of 5 minutes after the pick up time. If you are not sure about your PICK UP TIME call or send a whatsapp message to +506 89342626.
Please Note: "Pick up time" refers to the time we pick you up at the hotel, "Start Time" refers to the time when the tour starts at our office.
Pick up service is included ONLY for hotels located 5 km around La Fortuna Central Park. We DO NOT offer pick service on Airbnb, however you can drive or take a taxi to our main office in La Fortuna, where we offer safe parking and more facilities.
If you do not need to pick up, you can get to our office at 11:50 am. We are located 100 meters north from the police station, avenue 333 street 460. You can find us on Waze or google maps as ARENAL RAFTING COMPANY.
What to expect
Sarapiqui allows you to not only enjoy the rapids. Also stop along the way to enjoy a delicious fruit picnic on the riverside, jump into pools, swimming and some other challenges. .This trip begins in La Fortuna, in Costa Rica’s Arenal region, where our expert guide will pick you up in private transportation from your hotel and you will travel 1 hour to the river.
