The construction gathers a Convent and a Palace, both remarkable in their segments, but diverse as their conception might suggest. Its interior has one of the the most important Libraries in Europe with more then 30 thousand books. The bell towers of the basilica is something extraordinary, gathering 98 bells into 2 towers, one the biggest in the world. At the interior of the Royal Chapel you will see six historic organs, sat between 1792 and 1807.

On the follow you are heading to Ericeira, an old fisherman village, wich has become the capital of surfers in Portugal due to the amazing waves all year, you will see many breathtaking viewpoints, the charming historical center and the Praia dos Pescadores, gourgeous beach where the Royal family departured to exhile.
