Start the day by visiting Devrent Valley, also known as “Imagination Valley.” It boasts the most surreal-looking landscape.
Your next destination will be Paşabağı (Fairy Chimneys), also called Monks' Valley because Christian monks chose to build hermitages and churches on these three-peaked spires symbolizing the Holy Trinity. Here, you can see all stages of the formation of the fairy chimneys.
Proceed to Avanos Town and visit the pottery centre of Cappadocia, this village is set on the banks of the Kizilirmak/Red River. The river gets its name from the red clay it deposits.
You will give a lunch break before continuing to Goreme Open Air Museum. The world’s most important Cave Churches are found in these once lonely valleys where nuns and monks pursued monastic life from the 3rd century on. Here you can see the best preserved Byzantine cave wall paintings and frescos from the Iconoclastic period through to the end of Seljuk rule.
With a spectacular view over Goreme, have a chance to see the complete view of Goreme valley and Goreme village: fairy chimneys, rock formations and cave houses. End your day with beautiful view of Uchisar Castle. After the tour, Transfer to your hotel and overnight stay in Cave Suite Hotel.
Your Guide will pick you up from your hotel at 9:45 AM, hike through the Kızıl and Gül Valleys, which boast the most breathtaking and mysterious beauty in the region. End your hike at Çavuşin Cave Village. Marvel at the rock castle and cave houses where people lived until the 20th century.
The Underground City of Kaymakli, one of the largest and deepest of Cappadocia’s many such settlements. Discover this underground city and its stables, cellars, storage rooms, refectories, churches, and wineries.
We will visit beautiful Pigeon Valley. See amazing view of dovecotes (pigeon or dove houses), old left cave homes and old Greek houses of Uchisar and Ortshisar Castle, the biggest mass of fairy chimneys in Cappadocia. After the tour, drive back to Airport for your flight back to Istanbul. End of tour and service.
