Sintra, Cascais & Cabo da Roca Full Day Tour from Lisbon

8 to 9 hours (approximately)
Offered in: Portuguese and 2 more

Sintra has a lot to see and although the town is small, its planning makes it complex to visit for those who don't know it.
As well as knowing all the nooks and crannies, we know the tricks to make the most of your time.
Even though our tour is very well-rounded, it's not exhausting, as we take care to balance the time spent traveling with the time spent visiting. We are storytellers, we like to be precise with the information shared but add humor, drama, and interaction with the group. To have this close interaction and adjust to the needs of the group, we prefer to work with small groups.
In addition to all of the above, we guarantee the visit to two of Sintra's iconic monuments: Quinta da Regaleira and Palacio da Pena.
As well as the visit to the westernmost point of the European continent and a passage along the Portuguese Riviera.

Park and National Palace of Pena

From Lisbon, we have a 40 drive to Sintra and the first site of the day will be Pena Palace. Pena Palace is one of the most visited monuments in Portugal and definitely worth visiting. The palace is an 18th-century architectural complex that incorporates a 16th-century monastery, surrounded by a vast park full of plants and greenery, lakes, chapels, nooks and crannies. Pena Palace is often referred to as the Enchanted Palace or Disney Palace and for 1.5 hours you can wander through the park before reaching the terraces, where you can soak up the splendor and magic of this place. The interior/ rooms of the palace are not included in the visit due to the crowds and the organization of the remaining time. This entrance ticket for the park and terraces has a cost of 7€50. Total time allocated: 40-minute commute + 90 minutes to visit the attraction.

    Quinta da Regaleira

Sintra is filled with many extravagant constructions but none are more intriguing than Quinta da Regaleira. The main house, of an eccentric neo-gothic influence, stands out among the vegetation, but the gardens are the charm of this monument: hidden caves, an inverted tower with a spiral staircase that leads to the well, the Holy Trinity Chapel, the symbolism and mysticism of the place are breathtaking. The entrance fee is 11€ per person. From Quinta da Regaleira to Cabo da Roca we will take 30 minutes. Time allocated: 30 minute trip + 90 visit
