Please note this walk its not the standard 25 fountains offered by the big group companies, it has a longer distance and a harder level, its done in Levada, and trails in the middle of the Laurisilva.This is a small group guided walk, done in 17km covering the most and more important part of Rabaçal Area

What to expect

This walk  its flat walking, its far from to the majority of the hotels (northeast of the island). We will start were the levada ends, and walk trough it until we find the Madre of Ribeiro Bonito. starting in the middle of the exotic vegetation, and end up penetrating on one of the most lush dazzling valleys of the island povoated by endemic and native species. Along the way the and steep cliffs, letting us admire the the perseverance and genious of the many who built this levada in impossible cliffs and mountains. Once we get to the interior of the valley we will take a rest, recharging energies with our picking in order to returnof this magic place.
