    Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo)

    after pandas we will drive to The Leshan Giant Buddha is a monumental statue located near the city of Leshan in Sichuan Province, China. Carved out of a cliff face, it is considered one of the largest stone Buddha statues in the world and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site Boat Tour Option: Another popular way to experience the Leshan Giant Buddha is by taking a boat tour on the river. These tours offer unique perspectives of the statue from the water and provide additional opportunities for sightseeing. Exploring the Site by walk : Upon arriving at the Leshan Giant Buddha site, you'll need to walk through a park area to reach the viewing platforms overlooking the statue. There are several viewpoints from which you can admire the giant Buddha, including one at the base of the statue where you can see the intricate details up close.

    Firstly take the local sightseeing bus to Leidongping (about 1.5 hours), then hike about 30 minutes to cable car station for the cable car up to Golden Summit (over 3,078m high /10,098 feet). Once you get to the Golden Summit, you will see a towering, multi-face gold-plated bronze statue of Puxian Buddha appearing in front of you, it is one of the tallest gold-plated Buddha statues in the world. Visit the Huazang temple and explore around to enjoy the panoramic view of Mount Emei & snow mountains in the distance. If you are lucky enough then you will also see the vertigo-inducing views of the cloud sea around the mountain. After lunch at one of hotels' restaurants on the Golden Summit, then take the cable car and sightseeing bus back down to the foot of the mountain. Visit Baoguo temple, one of the main temples at Mount Emei.
