    Your professional tour guide will welcome you with your name card at the arrival hall of Luoyang Railway Station. After 1 hour driving from the Railway Station, you will start your exciting layover tour in beautiful Luoyang city! First of all, visit Shaolin Temple, This is a famous martial arts monastery, the birthplace of both kung fu and Zen Buddhism. Beautiful scenery throughout the entire complex. very peaceful and serene place to visit. as is the pagoda forest. The history of the place is fascinating to hear, The absolute highlight was watching a Shaolin Kung Fu performance, Also seeing hundreds of kids marching down to the training ground (all dressed identically) was a sight to behold. For lunch, you will experience local delicacies in luoyang.

    Longmen Grottoes

    At last, your guide will pick you up and head to Longmen Grottoes, This is a stretch along a river where the edge of the river is peppered with carved out spaces that have (or had) statues of Buddha in them. Some are impressive for the detail and some for the size but the experience is taking in the total number of these statues. Your private layover tour ends with return transport to the Luoyang Railway Station or drop-off at your Luoyang city hotel.
