    Dublin to Galway via Guinness & Clonmacnoise

    Guinness Storehouse

    Experience the iconic Guinness storehouse, where Ireland's famous national drink has been brewed since 1759, learn the history of this unique brewery in one of the oldest areas of Dublin. You will have ample time to enjoy Ireland's most visited attraction and savour a creamy Guinness or a complimentary soft drink in the epic gravity bar, a glass platform with a 360° view over Dublin's fair city.

    Enjoy a guided tour of this special and beautiful archaeological site. An ancient 1500 year old monastic-settlement perched on the banks of the river Shannon in the beautiful boglands of County Offaly. Enjoy a guided tour and learn of the history of the monks who survived and thrive on the sites by frequent Viking attacks, see the beautiful handcrafted Celtic crosses from the 10th century, the glorious Round tower and the magnificent altar were Pope John Paul said Mass in 1979. This is truly a wonderful historic site set in a serene area of natural beauty.

    River Shannon

    Tour-Guests always enjoy a crossing of the river Shannon by ferry. An extra expense for our company, but it's always worth it to give our guests an extra 30 minutes off the tour bus in the fresh air and save perhaps one hour driving time between Galway and Killarney. It's fun to get out in the open fresh air and go up on deck and possibly see the dolphins swimming in the Shannon estuary. A 30 minute crossing.
