During this 2.5-hour guided nature walk, your local naturalist guide will help you discover wildlife and reveal the hidden details of the cloud forest. As you explore the trails, you may observe colorful birds, insects, frogs, and unique plants that make this ecosystem so special.
The experience takes place in small groups of up to 8 participants, creating a relaxed and personalized atmosphere that allows for better wildlife observation and a deeper connection with the Monteverde Cloud Forest.
The front desk is located within the parking lot, where you can purchase entrance fee tickets and meet your guide for a minibus ride to the trail entrance. This process may add 20 to 30 minutes to your schedule. If you arrive by car, please park in the reserve's official parking lot.

Their images capture the remarkable biodiversity of Costa Rica, including birds, mammals, reptiles, and insects of the cloud forest. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful stop in nature while exploring wildlife photography, nature-inspired art, and locally crafted souvenirs just steps from the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.
Explore the world-famous Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve, one of the most biodiverse ecosystems in Costa Rica, located along the Sierra de Tilarán between Puntarenas and Alajuela. During this guided nature walk, you will explore lush cloud forest trails surrounded by towering trees covered in moss, orchids, bromeliads, and other unique epiphytes typical of this misty ecosystem.
