A day of sailing, sails hoisted, aboard a sailboat in the Mediterranean, in the calm of the Gulf of Aigues-Mortes.
When conditions allow, the engine fades to make way for the wind and the pleasure of authentic sailing.
Sailing enthusiasts will enjoy real sailing, with gliding and steering sensations, depending on the conditions of the day.
The sailboat skirts the Petite Camargue and its wild beaches, with a wide panorama of the Gulf, the Cevennes and Pic Saint-Loup.
From the sea, you also enjoy a unique view of La Grande-Motte, Sète and Mont Saint-Clair.
Throughout the day you can observe seabirds, the bay in all its grandeur and, hopefully, dolphins.
From May to September, swimming at sea is possible depending on the conditions.
A lunch break is planned at anchor, on a sandbank.
Please plan your lunch cart.
The meeting point is near the hotel restaurant Le Spinaker.
From the moment we embark, we drop moorings and cross Port Camargue, the largest marina in Europe. Once at sea, sails hoisted, we discover the immense Gulf of Aigues-Mortes. On the horizon are the Cevennes and Pic Saint-Loup, culminating at 658 meters. Navigation offers a unique panorama of the singular architecture of La Grande-Motte, then Carnon, Palavas, Frontignan and Sète, dominated by Mont Saint-Clair. After a transfer on board to the wild beaches of Camargue, we anchor on a natural sandbank, sheltered from the swell, for a lunch break. From May to September, swimming is possible. You will also be able to observe gulls and, hopefully, dolphins when resuming sailing off the Petite Camargue.
