The Ikegami Honmonji temple complex sits on a hill in central Ota City, a ten-minute stroll from Ikegami Station. The temple dates from the end of the 13th century. In the temple, only the sound of rustling leaves break the silence. This makes you feel like being in another world far from busy urban life.
Ikegami Baien is a Japanese stroll garden which is a 5-minute walk from Ikegami Honmonji Temple. Ikegami is the name of this area and Baien means “apricot garden.” Planted in this garden are 370 Japanese apricot trees and 800 azaleas.
A short train ride will then take you to Togoshi- ginza Shopping Street.The Togoshi Ginza shopping district's vibrant working-class atmosphere. 2 hours walk through the narrow streets of this fascinating town accompanied with the tasting of delicious local products. In the end of the tour, you will have free time on the Street, where many shops & restaurants are lined up along with the street. You will be enjoying local food, as well as souvenir shopping.
