Makhuntseti Waterfall is one of the most popular waterfalls in Georgia. It is located in Adjara, in the Makhuntseti village. A 50-meter-high waterfall flows on a small tributary, which creates a rather large whirlpool. You can visit the Makhuntseti waterfall at any period of the year. Here you can also buy the locals’ natural products: honey, Churchkhela and so on. From Batumi, you will need just one hour to get there.

Located twenty kilometres from Batumi, Mirveti Waterfall is one of Georgia’s most stunning waterfalls. Falling from a height of twenty meters from the cliffs near Mirveti Village, this waterfall is made all the more enchanting by the beautiful trail required to reach it. Walking through a sun-dappled forest of Colchic boxwoods, you’ll have the chance to soak in the unique blend of sea and mountain air - one of Ajara’s trademarks. Besides the waterfall, there is a 13th-century arched bridge and nice picnic spots in Mirveti. You may also wish to try the ecologically safe products and traditional Ajarian foods prepared by the locals in the café and restaurants around Mirveti. You can also take a boat tour on the river Chorokhi.

The Adjarian Wine House presents alcoholic drinks of 28 denominations: white, rose and red wines produces in two factories. Also, 6 denominations of vodka, two denominations of cognac (classic and XO) and a sparkling wine made in a classic way in a 2010. Wine specie for degustation: Chkhaveri, Tsolikauri, Rkatsiteli, Tsolikauri blend. Additional services / activities: Excursion in Wine House (sightsee the vineyards, the wine factory, old winemakers and cellar and enotheque decorated with ethnographic elements). Gonio Fortress had unique strategic importance: it protected the entrances of the Chorokhi and Adjaristskali valleys, connecting inner regions of southwestern Georgia with the Black Sea coast. Because of its location, Gonio fortress became one of the pillars of the Roman Empire and then for Byzantine and Ottoman too. The Gonio fortress has been a museum-reserve since 2010. There are exhibits dated back from the early years of the nineteenth century to the 80's.
